Bio: When I retired and closed my store, a children's clothing store, I never dreamt that within a couple of months I would be caring for my parents who were coping with Alzheimer's. That was back in 2006 when I began this journey of caregiving. When my father died in 2009, I wrote an ebook about my personal journey - of forgiveness, of love and of the many other gifts that I was privileged to receive. Caregiving transformed me - it opened my eyes and my heart to a different way of accepting disease. With acceptance of my new reality, I received kindness, compassion and love. Since I wanted others to receive these gifts, too, I decided to write an ebook and give this ebook away, free. For me, this blog is an opportunity to share my gift with others.
